Popcorn Sales:           

Who: Everyone

When: August - December, 2007

Important dates for the 2007 Popcorn Sale Campaign:
  • September 13 — Show-N-Sell orders due to the District Popcorn Kernels at Roundtable
  • September 29 — Show-N-Sell popcorn distribution day, 8am-Noon. Appointments required.
  • October 27 — Orange County Council Super Saturday, 9am-2pm
    (Take orders, unit prizes and all Show-N-Sell returns due to the William Lyon Homes Center for Scouting, 1211 E Dyer Rd., Santa Ana 92705.) 10% unit maximum return of unopened cases. No returns accepted after this date!
  • November 8 — Show-N-Sell money due to District Kernels at Roundtable
  • November 17 — Take order distribution day, 8am-Noon. Appointments required.
  • December 13 — All popcorn money due at Roundtable. One check per unit payable to OCBSA. Celebration qualifiers due.
  • December 16 — Popcorn Star Seller Celebration with the Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks! 7pm at the Pond.

Scouting for Food:                      

Who: Everyone

When: November 3 - 10th, 2007

Where: Orange County! This giant food drive supports Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County by serving hungry people in Orange County. Food must be delivered to a drop-off site on November 11.

-         supports the Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County

-         each Scout is encouraged to collect 5 bags of food.

Who: Scouters and parents from Tigers to Venturing and Den Chiefs
